Chopped Challenge is a cooking competition and fundraiser that aims to highlight the reality that 27% of Hendricks County families are struggling to meet their basic needs. During this competition competitors will be working in cooking stations similar to that of an extended stay motel, competitors will be challenged to create a delicious meal, using a mystery basket of food items donated from the local food pantries. Teams will be provided with cooking utensils and equipment that have been donated or bought on a tight budget.
Audience members will have the opportunity to sabotage teams with real world challenges or help them by purchasing extra ingredients or better tools.
