DESCRIPTION:The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County is excited to host the 15th Summer Fun Run Series. If you love our parks\, enjoy being outdoors\, and are up for an active summer challenge\, you’ll want to sign up for the 2023 Summer Fun Run Series\, presented by Hendricks Regional Health.\nYour race entry of $35 for an individual and $100 for a family of four gives you access to safe and convenient well-marked\, self-guided racing at 12 Hendricks County Parks. New this year\, we are offering an in-person option every Wednesday\, where a Parks Foundation representative and sponsor will be present to help answer any questions. Pricing goes up after May 12 so make sure to register soon!\nFunds raised from the Summer Fun Run are used to provide grants to the local park departments in Hendricks County.\nCheck out the schedule below and complete your run or walk during the designated dates listed for each park. SUMMARY:Rise & Swine 5K RIB RUN & THE RIBLET KIDS RUN
DESCRIPTION:We are more excited than ever for the 9th Annual Rib-Fest 5k Run/Walk & Kids Riblet Run! The Rib Run 5k will start at 9AM\, and then as a part of the grand opening for the day long festival the Kids Riblet Run will take off promptly at 10AM. We all know it is warm in late June\, but there really is no better way to get in those morning miles than with lots of friends starting Rib-Fest. The course is flat as can be (hello Indiana!)\, and perfect for runner/walkers of all abilities. After you finish the whole festival is open and ready for fun! Enjoy delicious post race treats ($5 of festival $ included with entry)\, enjoy the inflatables\, stick around to watch some hilarious improv shows and more! The Rib Run 5k is the perfect summer race to keep you training through the season\, and making memories with family & friends! We can’t wait to host you at the 2023 9th annual Rib Run!

DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO THE 18th ANNUAL HENDRICKS COUNTY RIB-FEST & BBQ! What started out as an Avon Community family event in 2005\, the Hendricks County Rib-Fest has become one of the largest local traditions drawing people from all over Hendricks County and the surrounding counties. It features live entertainment\, games for kids\, hot air balloons\, lots of food and fireworks! Local restaurants compete for the “Best Ribs” & “Best Sauce” bragging rights by local celebrity judges. \nIn addition to Rib-Fest\, the community can participate in the 9th Annual Rib Run sponsored by IU Health West with a 5k run and followed by Riblet Kids Run.
