DESCRIPTION:Various trees will be on display helping to raise money for 15 plus non-profits located in Hendricks county. Each tree will have a “voting box” for attendees to buy tickets to vote on their favorite tree as well as be entered into the silent auction with trees going to the highest bidder. All proceeds from voting ticket sales for each tree and the winning auction bid will go to the non-profit represented for each tree. The trees will then go to the homes of the winning bidders. There will also be things such as\, hot cocoa and cookies\, pictures with Santa\, and ornament decorating!

During this competition competitors will be working in cooking stations similar to that of an extended stay motel\, competitors will be challenged to create a delicious meal\, using a mystery basket of food items donated from the local food pantries. Teams will be provided with cooking utensils and equipment that have been donated or bought on a tight budget.\nAudience members will have the opportunity to sabotage teams with real world challenges or help them by purchasing extra ingredients or better tools.

DESCRIPTION:B&O BICYCLE TOUR SPONSORED BY HENDRICKS REGIONAL HEALTH\nJune 10\, 2023 at Williams Park in Brownsburg! The 31st Annual B&O Bicycle Tour will showcase portions of the B&O Trail including a newly paved section as well as scenic countryside. You can choose from 12-\, 16-\, 25-\, 45- or 66-mile loops. After the ride\, stick around for lunch and some live music. \nCOVID ~ The safety of riders and our volunteers is paramount. Our county health department does not require a COVID mitigation plan at this time. We encourage everyone to use common sense and to NOT attend if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to anybody who is. We are monitoring the state’s COVID requirements and will implement a plan if required as the date of the event approaches. \nWHERE ~ Beautiful Williams Park\, 940 S Locust Ln\, Brownsburg\, Indiana. \nSTART TIME ~ Sign-in begins at 7:30 AM on Saturday\, June 10\, 2023. There will be no mass start of riders at specified times. All riders can depart once they have completed their check-in\, prepped their bikes and donned a helmet! Please note that our event is rain or shine. No refunds are given due to the weather. \nWHAT’S FOR LUNCH ~ Listen to live music as you enjoy a fantastic lunch catered by Smokin’ J’s Barbecue immediately after the ride. Once again this year there will be a black bean veggie burger option! Thank you to Aqua Systems for donating water\, Piazza Produce for the fruit\, and Eby-Brown for the snacks at the SAG stops. \nSEE YOURSELF ON INSTAGRAM ~ During the ride\, take pictures and post them on Instagram using #bobikeride. We hope to show pictures on a continuous loop throughout the day back at the starting venue. You can enjoy them as you eat lunch and listen to the music. \nENTRY FEES ~ Early bird registration fees are in effect through April 14th. Early bird adult riders pay $35 and young adult riders (13-18 years old) pay $25 with lunch included. As always\, children 12 and under ride for free with lunch included! A lunch-only fee is available for non-riders for just $10. Starting April 15th\, the regular fee for adults goes up to $40 and the regular fee for young adults (13-18 years old) goes up to $30. Please note that same day registration fees may be higher. Save money by registering on-line on or before June 9th! \nSPECIAL FEATURES OF RIDE ~ SAG vehicles will be roving the routes to assist with minor mechanical problems or fatigue. Routes are marked on the roads\, but route maps are provided as a backup. Mechanics from Bicycle Garage Indy (BGI) will be on hand to answer mechanical questions and assist riders with pre-ride inspections. The first 300 riders to check-in will receive a souvenir water bottle. Riders will enjoy live music as they eat lunch from Smokin’ J’s Barbecue (10:30 AM to 3:00 PM). Lunch is included with registration. \nPARKING ~ Ample parking will be available at Williams Park. As always\, watch for signs and parking attendants with safety vests.

SUMMARY:Imagine the Arts: A Starry Night at The Lab
DESCRIPTION:Imagine The Arts will provide attendees and potential donors with unique hands-on learning opportunities\, similar to what Plainfield K-5 students experience each month. There will be artists and artisans around the room interacting with guests. The purpose of the event is for the attendees to imagine what students could gain through raising funds and allow The Imagination Lab to hire a different artisan each month and teach the students a unique skill. Artisans can range from local farmers teaching students about agriculture with hands-on farming experience to woodworkers teaching students the art of building and creating. Our goal is to raise $20\,000 through sponsorships\, ticket sales\, donations\, and auction items.

SUMMARY:Musical Chairs Fundraiser 2023
DESCRIPTION:This event is just what you are thinking it is… musical chairs like you played in school. It is the LARGEST musical chairs event in Indiana! \nIn 2022\, this event was noted by attendees as “just as fun for the spectators as the players.” It is great for team building and for individuals to catch up in a relaxed atmosphere. Back by popular demand and marketed in 2022 by newspapers and news stations\, we upgraded our space at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and are ready for YOU! All of the proceeds benefit Hendricks County Seniors Services (non-profit 501c3). \nWe will sell out at 120 players and 300 spectators. Play will be bracketed with double elimination. Tickets will include heavy appetizers and desserts and a bottle of water. There will be a beer and wine trailer available as well as other food for purchase. We will also have mystery bags available\, unlock the door possibilities as well as other games for you to help raise funds for the mission of helping older adults stay in the home of choice for as long as possible. \nJosh Hargis with Hypnotik Sounds will DJ\, Terri Stacy from WIBC will Emcee\, and Big Joe Staysniak will be the referee! DESCRIPTION:Hendricks Humane will host its 17th annual Wine\, Beer & Spirits Tasting event on Friday\, November 4\, from 7–10pm at CRG Event Center\, 2499 Perry Crossing Way in Plainfield. Come! Sip! Stay! is a fun\, interactive evening filled with a variety of adult beverages and light appetizers\, complemented by live entertainment\, a wine pull and silent auction. \nThis year’s event is being presented by The Brothers That Just Do Gutters\, a community-minded\, client-focused company that offers a full range of related gutter contractor services and products in addition to repair\, install\, cleaning\, and maintenance. All funds raised will be dedicated to ending dog and cat overpopulation and to provide medical expense assistance for owned pets. \nCrown Liquors\, as Tasting Partner\, will offer a wide variety of sampled curated wines\, beers and spirits for the expected 250 guests. The silent auction\, using mobile bidding technology\, will offer many tempting items for guests in attendance\, as well as others with online access. \nTables for groups of 8 are $400 each\, while individual tickets are $50 apiece and available at www.hendrickshumane.org or by calling 317-745-3338. \nThis annual event is the largest source of funding for the year. Funds are needed to attain these annual goals in serving the Hendricks County community:\n• Funding 1\,000 spay/neuter surgeries of owned pets and community cats.\n• Funding all pet owner requests for assistance of medical and other care needs of pets.\n• Funding supplemental pet food for our pantry to serve over 170 dogs and cats monthly.\n• Funding to implant free or low-cost microchips for over 150 pets. \nFor more information\, contact Carol at 317-850-7097 or TastingGala@hendrickshumane.org. \nHendricks Humane Society is a volunteer-driven\, nonprofit organization founded in 1970 with the mission of being a “Voice for the Animals.” The community impact in 2021 included funding 849 spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats\, distributing 35\,428 pounds of food through its pet food pantry\, and financially assisting owners of 27 pets with unexpected medical issues.
