SUMMARY:Musical Chairs Fundraiser 2023
DESCRIPTION:This event is just what you are thinking it is… musical chairs like you played in school. It is the LARGEST musical chairs event in Indiana! \nIn 2022\, this event was noted by attendees as “just as fun for the spectators as the players.” It is great for team building and for individuals to catch up in a relaxed atmosphere. Back by popular demand and marketed in 2022 by newspapers and news stations\, we upgraded our space at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and are ready for YOU! All of the proceeds benefit Hendricks County Seniors Services (non-profit 501c3). \nWe will sell out at 120 players and 300 spectators. Play will be bracketed with double elimination. Tickets will include heavy appetizers and desserts and a bottle of water. There will be a beer and wine trailer available as well as other food for purchase. We will also have mystery bags available\, unlock the door possibilities as well as other games for you to help raise funds for the mission of helping older adults stay in the home of choice for as long as possible. \nJosh Hargis with Hypnotik Sounds will DJ\, Terri Stacy from WIBC will Emcee\, and Big Joe Staysniak will be the referee! SUMMARY:Clean and Green Earth Day
DESCRIPTION:This Earth Day\, bring the whole family for a community clean up! Volunteer to remove trash throughout Brownsburg or remove invasive plants from Williams Park. After cleaning local parks\, trails\, and Town areas\, we’ll celebrate by creating a mural with recycled items found during clean up. Trash bags and pickers will be provided. \nThis event is in partnership with the Hendricks County Partnership for Water Quality and State of Indiana Cooperative Invasives Management. \nIndividuals\, churches\, civic\, community\, and neighborhood groups can register for the event through the form below. Teams must be registered by Monday\, April 17. \nTeams can be assigned to a location or may choose their own. Priority locations are any areas that drain directly to a local waterway.\nPre-registration is required.
