On Wednesday\, February 25 from 12-1:30 p.m.\, you can roll up your sleeves and spread the love where it’s needed most. Join Pack Away Hunger and the Brownsburg Rotary Club with the support of the Brownsburg American Legion and Hendricks County Community Foundation for a heart-filling meal packing event as we come together to assemble 15\,000 nutritious meals for our neighbors. Give a gift of kindness\, connection\, and compassion by helping nourish your community. \nThis is hands-on service at its best—an energetic assembly line of neighbors\, coworkers\, families\, and friends working shoulder to shoulder for a shared purpose. The meals we’ll create are shelf-stable\, heart-healthy\, and packed with rice\, vegetables\, soy\, and a vitamin/mineral blend designed to deliver complete nutrition. Think Rice-A-Roni—but better for the body and soul. \nYour support matters. A few hours of your time or a small donation can mean food security for someone in Hendricks County who might otherwise go hungry. Every $1 donated provides meals\, and each volunteer helps turn compassion into action. \nThis event made possible by a grant from the Hendricks County Community Foundation.

DESCRIPTION:The Brownsburg Rotary Club has partnered with Pack Away Hunger to host a packing event on February 25\, 2026\, noon at the Brownsburg American Legion.  Hendricks County Community Foundation provided funding for Pack Away Hunger to support Hendricks County Food Pantries.  The club’s goal is to have 75 or more volunteers for the event.
