SUMMARY:Imagine the Arts: A Starry Night at The Lab
DESCRIPTION:Imagine The Arts will provide attendees and potential donors with unique hands-on learning opportunities\, similar to what Plainfield K-5 students experience each month. There will be artists and artisans around the room interacting with guests. The purpose of the event is for the attendees to imagine what students could gain through raising funds and allow The Imagination Lab to hire a different artisan each month and teach the students a unique skill. Artisans can range from local farmers teaching students about agriculture with hands-on farming experience to woodworkers teaching students the art of building and creating. Our goal is to raise $20\,000 through sponsorships\, ticket sales\, donations\, and auction items.

DESCRIPTION:This event is just what you are thinking it is… musical chairs like you played in school. It is the LARGEST musical chairs event in Indiana! \nIn 2022\, this event was noted by attendees as “just as fun for the spectators as the players.” It is great for team building and for individuals to catch up in a relaxed atmosphere. Back by popular demand and marketed in 2022 by newspapers and news stations\, we upgraded our space at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and are ready for YOU! All of the proceeds benefit Hendricks County Seniors Services (non-profit 501c3). \nWe will sell out at 120 players and 300 spectators. Play will be bracketed with double elimination. Tickets will include heavy appetizers and desserts and a bottle of water. There will be a beer and wine trailer available as well as other food for purchase. We will also have mystery bags available\, unlock the door possibilities as well as other games for you to help raise funds for the mission of helping older adults stay in the home of choice for as long as possible. \nJosh Hargis with Hypnotik Sounds will DJ\, Terri Stacy from WIBC will Emcee\, and Big Joe Staysniak will be the referee! DESCRIPTION:Washington Township Parks\, in partnership with Indiana On Tap\, is excited to present the inaugural “Kegs & Eggs” Craft Beer Fest + Adult Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday\, April 8th from 1pm – 5pm at the beautiful Murphy Aquatic Park In Avon. \nThis exciting new event will feature UNLIMITED SAMPLES & POURS from 15+ Indiana craft breweries\, wineries & distilleries from all over the state\, as well as an adult Easter Egg hunt with prizes. All attendees will receive a tasting cup when they arrive to enjoy as many of the estimated 75+ unique beers\, wines\, and spirits as they would like (while meeting and getting to know these breweries/wineries/distilleries and their own unique stories along the way). \nGREAT MUSIC will complement the event and great food will be available for purchase from multiple food trucks! \nJoin us for more than just kegs with our eggciting events! First\, will be our egg hunt—collect as many as you can in hopes of winning one of our raffle prizes! Who knows? You might come across a golden egg. Next will be our egg race as competitors will maneuver through a series of obstacles while balancing an egg on a spoon. Whoever completes the course first—without dropping the egg\, wins. \nCome out and enjoy one of the very few craft beer\, wine & spirits festivals that takes place in this part of central Indiana! Make no mistake\, this festival is going to be a party that you absolutely don’t want to miss! \nGates will open for VIP entry at 1pm\, with General Admission entry beginning at 2pm.
