Three of the top five needs in our 2019 Community Needs Assessment were “County and towns don’t coordinate planning efforts or work together,” “Community leaders have self-interest rather than social responsibility and lack overall community knowledge,” and “Negative and false social media influencing issues.”
Meet the Candidates Forum
Our Civic Engagement focus over the next 5 years is threefold:
- Expand our community’s efforts in inclusion, diversity, equity & accessibility (IDEA)
- Increase volunteerism including public and nonprofit board service
- Improve voter education and engagement
