On Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., roll up your sleeves and volunteer with Pack Away Hunger at a meaningful meal packing event. Together, we’ll assemble 15,000 nutritious meals for our neighbors. Give a few hours of your time to make a real, local impact and experience the power of coming together to nourish our community.<\/p>\n
This is hands-on service at its best\u2014an energetic assembly line of neighbors, coworkers, families, and friends working side-by-side for a shared purpose. The meals we\u2019ll create are shelf-stable, heart-healthy, and packed with rice, vegetables, soy, and a vitamin\/mineral blend designed to deliver complete nutrition. Think Rice-A-Roni\u2014but better for the body and soul.<\/p>\n
